Many years ago I read a news story about a couple that passed away in each others arms. I was struck by that and wrote this song called ‘Love’s Last Embrace’. It can be taken as literally a last embrace at the end of life or until I see you again type of embrace. Time is short and life is precious, we don’t know how long we have with our loved ones so enjoy them to the fullest and not take anything for granted.
Musically it’s in the key of A Major although I start the song on the 6th degree of the scale with an F# minor arpeggio. I think my favorite part of the song is the key change about halfway through.
