After I released my album ‘Dark Night of the Soul’ some fans of my music expected the next album to be dark night 2.0. But that’s not the direction I wanted the music to take. Dark night is about this journey through deep emotional pain and suffering and coming out of the other side of it, into the light and a new day. My song ‘Hope Endures’ is the flip side and is about walking in peace, faith, love and the hope.
The song is in the key of G Major and 4/4 common time. I really love the left hand pattern that includes the flat 6th note of the scale. I hope listening to this song gives you hope and optimism.
