My song ‘New Day’ is an optimistic statement about moving forward in life. Leaving the darkness behind, stepping into the light and a new day. Yesterday is over and every day is a new day, a chance to begin anew.
Musically it’s in the key of A Major and has a 12/8 rhythm to it known as a Barcarolle. It’s Italian for boatman or gondolier and therefore has a gentle rocking rhythm to it.
