Do you remember your first love? What do you remember about them? Do you remember your first date with them? The clothes they wore? The perfume or cologne they wore? I think everyone remembers their first love. My song ‘Love Remembered’ is all about our first love and the sweet romantic or nostalgic feeling of remembering them.
Musically the song is in the key of B flat major (two flats) and weaves in and out of 4/4 and 3/4 time. I love the descending bass notes of B flat, A, A flat, G, G flat etc. My favorite sections of the song are the melodic variations from the 46 second mark to the 60 second mark, then again from 1:41 mark to the 2 minute mark. Then again from 2:32 mark to about the 3 minute mark.
