I’m not ready to reveal the details just yet, but I can’t wait for you to hear it!

In the meantime, I thought I’d let you in on the nerdy gear stuff that went on behind the scenes…
My engineer and I recorded the new music back in August on a 9 foot concert grand Steinway D piano.
This piano has a nice warm sound, with a sparkly high end and a big beefy bass end.
The big players in this project were a pair of DPA 4006 Omni capsule mics on a stereo bar placed in a nice sweet spot within the piano, and a millenium hv-3d preamp.
We added some reverb and mastered it to give this album a nice dreamy feel. 90% of the album is solo piano, but a couple tracks have a little something extra for you.
