Hope you’ve had a productive and happy 2023. I’ve posted a lot of music theory and behind the music posts on the blog this year. Outside of that I’ve had a lot of fun traveling, reading, catching up on binge watching movies and tv shows. Here’s a quick highlight of my 2023…
January- I love exploring new food places so I went to Daddy’s Dogs in Nashville as seen on the TV show ‘Somebody Feed Phil’
February- Celebrated another birthday.
March- Eye doctor said I have high eye pressure. Not glaucoma but something to keep an eye on. (No pun intended)
April- Our son accepted his accounting awards at college.
May- Traveled to Florida, two week driving trip from Nashville to multiple cities including Panama City Beach, St. Augustine, Disney Springs, Orlando, Key Largo, Marathon Key, Key West, Vaca Key, Miami, Jacksonville.
June- Opened up our swimming pool and spent lots of time swimming.
July- Traveled to French Polynesia. This was definitely a bucket list trip and included the Islands of Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, Incredibly beautiful place.
August- Was a home body, after that two week trip to French Polynesia I spent August hanging out at the pool relaxing.
September- Went to a STL Cardinal baseball game and had dinner at the exact same restaurant my wife and I had our first date. Nostalgic.
October- Played 80’s music trivia and won a 55 inch flat screen TV!
November- Sad news, my wife’s mom passed away at age 76. She had dementia and quit eating. Good news was that my eye pressure is back to normal, got some new aviator sunglasses.
December- Got to spend some time with extended family that I haven’t seen in a while. Santa Clause got me a Play Station 5 for Christmas. Been playing the new Mortal Kombat game.
Are we following each other on social media?
You can find me on…
Lastly I made Spotify playlist that includes songs from the past 5 plus decades, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s, & 2020s thus far. Enjoy and here’s to a great 2024!
