Beautiful to hear my music can be part of people’s recovery…

Every once in a while I get messages like this about how my music has helped other people with addictions, depression, anxiety etc. Beautiful to hear my music can be part of people’s recovery…
“Philip Wesley, I’m writing you this evening because I have an overwhelming sense to express to you how your music truly has blessed me with inner peace. I’m an alcoholic and an addict who has been in recovery now for almost a year. I’ve been up until recently experiencing nightmares of past drinking/using. I was given the suggestion to try listening to meditation music before going to sleep. I’ve always have been a fan of the piano so after searching a few composers I found your transcend album. After listening to this album before going to sleep at night I noticed the nightmares have stopped. To me this is truly a priceless gift. So now this has become apart of my nightly routine. I find myself having beautiful dreams again. I just want you to know that your music is helping to change my life and give me peace once more. Some people don’t understand the damage that alcoholism and addiction does to us. It’s not only physical but my mental state and spiritual strength also took a hard hit. So finding that your music has helped me heal from that mental and spiritual anguish is something I’m truly grateful for. I’m not sure if anyone has had this same experience with your music but I’ve never been more at peace and I truly believe that because of me listening to not just your transcend album but also hope endures, dark night of the soul and beyond cloud 9 all have the same effect. So thank you Philip Wesley from the bottom of my heart for your music. You’ve gained a true fan here and God bless you!”

I had the same experience in early recovery. ‘Philip Wesley Radio’ got me through the darkest time in my life. That was almost 5 years ago. Pandora reports I have since listened to well over 1000 hours of this station. I’ve had the chance to meet Philip in person and thank him at a concert he put on in boulder several years back and he was very gracious. A blessing indeed

Very moving message and I can’t agree more: Your gift of music heals.
